Amsterdam

We arrived in Amsterdam on the 13th. Today (the 16th) is our last full day here. The house we've rented is right in the centre of the city, so we've been able to walk around everywhere. In the past three days, we've spent a lot of time doing just that, walking along canals and in front of gorgeous buildings. On the 14th we visited the Albert Cuypmarket, took a canal cruise, and had Indonesian Rijsttafel for dinner. Yesterday we went to both the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, then went to Rembrandt and Dam Square. We went to Anne Frank Haus this morning, then climbed the tower of the Westerkerk and spent the afternoon shopping in the Nine Streets of Negen Straatjes.
Typical Amsterdam street, it`s a really beautiful city

The Rijksmuseum had a temporary installation called Art as Therapy that involved little philosophical
blurbs beside certain works. This one, beside a four hundered year old linen cabinet, was my favourite.
